New Referral System

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Our referral system has just been released. Directly quoted from the plans page:

We highly appreciate word of mouth advertising as crucial to the success of our business. As part of our commitment to our customers, we offer a simple referral system that will allow you to significantly decrease your hosting bill. For every customer who you refer to us, we will give you 1 free month of hosting regardless of which plan you are on! Simply tell others to type your domain name under the “Referral” field on the order form. There is no limit on the number of referrals, which means that you can realistically earn years of free service with us. You will receive your free month after the first payment.

Public Uptime Reports

Saturday, June 7th, 2008

After comparing several third-party server uptime monitors, we chose Pingdom as our exclusive uptime monitor due to their great features, usability, and price point. As of now, all of our hosting servers will be monitored every minute by Pingdom’s multiple monitoring servers around the world. All reports for our servers will be available to the public through Pingdom’s public reports page.

This can also be found on the footer of our website.
